A. The National Science & Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (National SMART Grant) is a need-based grant available to those who have also qualified for the Pell Grant.

The National SMART Grant is for third and fourth year undergraduates who majoring in "physical, life, or computer sciences, mathematics, technology, or engineering or in a foreign language determined critical to national security."
