A. Federal Work-Study refers to federally-subsidized college-based programs that provide jobs to students with financial need.

The Federal Work-Study program was designed to encourage community service and work related to each student's particular course of study. Jobs can be either with the college or for a for=profit employer who has entered into a contract with the college.
